In life there will always be someone or something telling you what you can or can't become. Many say this with upmost certainty because their definition of who you are is a reflection of their opinion mixed with their own experiences. In the meaningful words of Plato, "Opinion is the medium between knowledge and ignorance." When dealing with another's perception of yourself, you will find yourself on a road merging two separate ways. To the left you'll find the truth in another's perception, and whether positive or negative it is different then your own and if you are to choose this path you must leave your own identity behind and begin seeing yourself through the eyes of another. When choosing to go right, you must do the opposite. You are forced to leave behind the words of those around you and embark on the journey alone. While the thought alone is terrifying, remind yourself that this is the path that you were most certainly born to go down, hence the term "right path". While this path is the most challenging, it will make you strong. You will form yourself of your own life's worth, uninfluenced by the world in which you so desperately hoped to escape from. Remember that even if at some point you chose the left, you can always return to the foot of the journey, but the same cannot be said of the right. The path of self sufficiency is rittled with trial that will change you, leaving you questioning what you will approach next. You will be broken down, but as you continue to push forward each curve will bring forth new material to rebuild the home that is you. This is the challenge of life itself. But now the real question remains, where do both paths lead ?
