When given a lesson from life itself we are highly effected, either we choose to accept the truth we are told or we run as far as we can in the opposite direction hoping to hide ourselves from any potential wounds. When looking at human behavior individually, it can be noted that when one faces trial they feel as though they cannot triumph causing them to run for safety. Imagine your dad, or some other man rockin a sick pair of new balances, at a grill when it spontaneously catches fire. His first instinct is to put the fire out himself, but when the fire grows and he doesn't have the resources to contain it further, he's running immediately for saftey and calling someone to help. While this story may not seem applicable to you, understand that this is something that you face everyday, metaphorically speaking. We are all given challenge and difficulty, and whether we choose to fix it ourselves or call for help we are able to handle the situation itself independently using either approach. A man who gets himself to saftey and calls for aid is still ensuring the fire's control with the same effort of the other man's ability to put it out himself. We each hold the ability to do either in any situation we face, but understand that unlike a literal fire, we can ALL help ourselves. We must look at our lives, find what's going south and notice the things we may be missing while working actively to begin building the foundation of our lives. Understand that the same goes for self reflection. If you're not where you wished you were in life, look to yourself and change what can about your circumstances as well as what can change about yourself. As life evolves, we should too. Life is about learning how to adapt, overcome then triumph. That vision in your head of who you wish you were or what you wished your life looked like is HIGHLY receivable. There is no difference in potential from the person you are now and the person you wish to become. The only thing stopping you from getting there is your fight against change and in the end we all know who's going to win.
